At the end of December 2016, approximately 20% of savers who applied for reimbursement as customers of the 4 banks rescued by the State in 2015 (Banca Etruria, Banca Marche, Cariferrara, Carichieti) were reimbursed. This was announced by the Solidarity Fund for savers, according to which out of 14 applications received, 2.650 have been paid, while around 6 are still being processed.
In absolute value, the repayments amount to 35 million for now, but the bulk is yet to arrive.
Most individual reimbursements are under €20. Furthermore, the requests for indemnity mainly concern the canceled bonds of Banca Etruria and those of Cariferrara.
