After yesterday's rally Wall Street moves little today and consolidates the record levels reached yesterday. The Dow Jones is down 0,1% and the S&P up 0,09% just above. The Nasdaq is up 0,1%. In August, existing home sales grew by 1,7% month on month, better than the -2,6% expected.

Furthermore, the super-index, ie the index made up of the main US macro indices, indicates growth of 0,7% in August, better than the 0,6% expected. After yesterday's fall, the dollar is stable and the exchange rate with the euro is indicated at 1,355.

Oil retreat: Brent falls by 0,7% to 109,7 dollars a barrel. Yesterday it had jumped 2%.

On the government bond market, the BTP continued to improve with the ten-year yield down to 4,29%. The spread is at 242.

The second issue of a Btp Italia in 2013 will arrive by November. To say it is Maria Cannata, head of the Treasury for debt management.
