Banks, Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna does not intend to intervene in the rescue of Banca Network

The Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna group does not intend to intervene in the rescue of Banca Network. This is what President Antonio Patuelli specified on the sidelines of the Abi executive meeting, replying to the extraordinary commissioners of the Bank who had requested the intervention of the Ravenna group. Entering the ABI executive, Patuelli explained how the Cr Ravenna group "has nothing to do with Banca Network" and recalled how it only owns 50% of Consultinvest Sgr and has "no shares" in Consultinvest Spa and of Consultinvest Sim who instead made an offer to take over Banca Network's network of financial advisors a few days ago.

To those who asked him why he recalled the extraordinary commissioners, Patuelli replied that "only the Pope is infallible and moreover he is only so when he speaks of theological questions". The president of Cr Ravenna then conceded that if "the account holders and customers of Banca Network want to transfer their deposits to us we will examine them and welcome them" but without bailouts or liquidity injections.
