"The work is going well, I'm very satisfied: we're working on a decree by the end of the month, we'll see". This was stated by the president of the national anti-corruption authority, Raffaele Cantone, regarding the arbitration involving the subordinate bondholders of the four banks involved in the government resolution decree (Banca Marche, Banca Etruria, Carife and CariChieti).
"The Ministry of the Economy is working on the part of the reimbursement criteria - explained Cantone at the end of a meeting at Palazzo Chigi -, we are concentrating on how to organize the arbitrations and I am very happy with this work".
Meanwhile Roberto Nicastro, president of the four "good banks" created with the rescue of the institutions, announced yesterday that the banks will be sold "before the beginning of the summer", but it has not yet been decided whether the sale will be carried out in a single package or with separate operations.
