Banks still under fire, only luxury is saved

The wait for the final outcome on the independence of Catalonia, in the afternoon, keeps the stock exchanges in suspense. At Piazza Affari the index Ftse Mib drops by 0,4% just above 22.300 points. Same drop on the Madrid Stock Exchange. Smaller losses, around 0,1%, for Paris and Frankfurt. Enel recovers last week's losses: against the trend, it now gains 0,5% to 5,10 euros (Eurostoxx Utility -0,4%). This morning Barclays strengthened the Overweight recommendation, raising the target price to 5,85 euros from 5,50 euros.

Unicredit loses 1,56%. Intesa Sanpaolo 1,5%. Compagnia Sanpaolo sold 150 million shares this morning through a flash sale: investors bought the shares at a 5% discount. 
The new guidelines of the Supervision of the ECB on non-performing loans are also frightening. The proposal has been much criticized by the banks, the president of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, also complained in a letter sent to the president Mario Draghi. Bpm bank -0,77%.
