As regards the protections, those already provided for parents of children with disabilities or in poor health conditions are maintained. This area includes "the time bank”, with which it will be possible to donate holidays and leave to colleagues, but also the right to “disconnection”, with the aim of reconciling private and working life in the best possible way. The new agreement introduces the right for employees to be able to go about their lives outside the office without interference or undue intrusion, along with the right to turn off corporate devices outside of working hours.

They are then introduced new guarantees to protect workers subjected to disciplinary proceedings, with a formulation of the contract of fault that takes into account the factual circumstances, or rather the organizational context and the indications received from the company. Furthermore, banks will have to grant full access to the documents so that the right of defense is effectively exercised. As far as legal expenses are concerned, if there are any findings, they will be advanced by the companies themselves.

In the new contract, moreover, attention is paid to national regulation of smart workingrespecting the health and safety of employees. Furthermore, a limit of 10 days per month is set and it is the company's duty to provide the necessary equipment for the worker to carry out the service.

The digital age also affects banks. For this reason Abi and the trade unions have decided to set up one bilateral control room on digitisation, with the task of monitoring and analyzing the impact of new technologies on the organizational models of banks. The birth of the cabin marks a decisive step forward in worker participation and the possibility of introducing new professional figures.

This new bank contract can also be a reference model for other sectors. Never before has Italy needed to find new development prospects and solutions in line with greater social cohesion.

  1. look at it, just before the propaganda of the virus crown and the relative chaos, an average increase of 190 euros, in an increasingly "online" sector such as the banking sector, instead of reducing costs ... therefore an increase in costs for the final consumer.

“This new bank contract can be a reference model for other sectors as well.”
