World Bank: Chinese growth slows down to +7,7% in 2012, due to exports and investments

According to the World Bank, Chinese growth is slowing sharply in 2012. The Dragon economy is expected to grow by 7,7% this year, over a point and a half less than the +9,3% recorded in 2011. However, Beijing should accelerate again in 2013, up to +8,1%.

This year's result is linked to the “exports weaker and a growth of investments slower,” writes the World Bank in its latest report on East Asia and the Pacific published in Singapore. The slowdown in China will have repercussions on the whole area which will, however, grow by +7,2% this year.
