The result for the month was positive for 648 million euro: this is the best February ever – since the beginning of the year, funding has reached 1.150 million.

Banca Mediolanum closed the month of February with total positive net inflows of 648 million euro. The result adds up to 502 million in January, bringing the total since the beginning of the year to 1.150 million (from 666 million in the same period of 2015). The institute states that what has just ended is the "best February ever" for net inflows.

The net balance directly in mutual funds amounts to 125 million euro, for a total of 225 million since the beginning of the year against 366 million in the first two months of 2015. Inflows from the "My Life" policy amount to 41 million, for a total of 94 million , including January (against 330 million in the first two months of 2015), while that of the other unit-linked policies is 13 million, to a total of 38 million in the two months, from -16 million a year earlier.

Net inflows into funds and managed funds in February thus amounted to 178 million, which combined with 180 million in January bring the year-to-date figure to 358 million against 679 million in the first two months of 2015. Including other life products (-32 million ) and third-party bonds and structured certificates (-3 million), net inflows from assets under management in February amounted to 144 million, bringing the progressive figure for 285 to 2016 million, down from 568 million in 2015.

Lastly, assets under administration recorded net inflows of 504 million, for a total of 2016 million in 865, a marked increase compared to 97 million in the same period of 2015.
