Banca IMI, 21 new certificates with annual premiums

Banca IMI further expands its range of investment instruments issued. In fact, a new proposal for Certificates issued by the investment house of the Intesa Sanpaolo group arrives: it is about 21 Premium Cash Collect Certificates with 50% barrier, which are listed on the SeDeX market of Borsa Italiana as of today, February 21st. The complete list is available on the Banca IMI website.

HOW DO THEY WORK

Banca IMI's new Premium Cash Collect Barriera 50% Certificates are Conditionally Capital Protected Investment Certificates which have the peculiarity of paying the investor three yearly unconditional fixed Awards during the life of the Certificate and repay the issue price plus a Premium on maturity, if the underlying asset does not lose more than 50%.

In particular, all the 50% Barrier Premium Cash Collect Certificates listed on February 21st have the following characteristics: issue price equal to 100 euro, 4-year duration and 50% barrier observed only at maturity; provide for the payment of 3 unconditional fixed premiums, regardless of the performance of the underlying share and 1 conditional premium on maturity: for the payment of the conditional premium to take place and the issue price to be repaid on maturity, it is sufficient that the underlying, on the date of final valuation, you do not record a loss of more than 50% of its initial reference value.

For this reason, even in the event of falls of the underlying share within the Barrier Level, the yield of the Certificate is positive. By way of example, here is in detail the functioning of the Premium Cash Collect Certificate on Unicredit (ISIN IT0005402471). The investor will have the possibility to purchase this instrument directly on the SeDeX market of Borsa Italiana starting from Friday 21 February through his/her trusted financial intermediary, phone banking or internet banking. Regardless of the performance of the Unicredit share, each Certificate will pay 3 fixed premiums of €4,20 on the following dates: 17 February 2021, 17 February 2022 and 20 February 2023.
