Jump of 161,3% in the first half. The CEO Giovanni Bossi: "It is possible to distribute a dividend up between 10 and 15% compared to 2014"

Banca Ifis, record profit, dividend increases

Profit jump of 161,3% in six months to 130,8 million and dividends up by 10-15 per cent compared to 2014. These are the most significant data from Banca Ifis' half-yearly report, approved by the Board of Directors, which brought the intermediation margin to 264,7 million (+85,1%) and presents a net financial management result of 247,8 million euros (+103,4%).

The ratio of net non-performing loans to loans in the Trade Receivables sector decreased from 1,3% to 1,2%. The common equity Tier 1 (CET1) improved: 15,43% (13,89% as at 31 December 2014) while the Capital Ratio on total own funds rose to 16,11% (14,21% as at 31 December 2014). Lastly, hiring: they are growing, with 98 new resources added.

“We deliver an outstanding half year to the market,” he commented Giovanni Bossi, managing director of Banca IFIS. “These results – he continued – demonstrate once again that Banca IFIS's model works, that the actions are effective, that the innovative path undertaken has the potential to last over time. The current endowment of capital will allow all core businesses to achieve sustained growth. Capital strengthening allows us to face the challenges facing the market with serenity. The board of directors - underlines Bossi - in the light of the results obtained so far and the evidence available to date regarding the expected operating performance of the second half-year, deems it will be possible to propose the distribution of a dividend per share between 10 and 15% higher than that paid for 2014".

In the wake of the results, the stock grows by 2,7% in Piazza Affari, at an altitude of 21,02 euros.
