Banca Ifis: ok to the 5 billion Emtn plan

The program will be implemented in the next few months - The issues will be destined for institutional investors in Italy and abroad - The Emtn "will allow Banca Ifis both to promptly exploit favorable market windows for the issue of bond loans, and to issue various categories of debt financial instruments”.

Banca Ifis's board of directors approved the creation of an Emtn (European Medium Term Notes) program with an overall maximum limit of 5 billion euro. The plan will be implemented in the coming months.

According to the note published by the institute, the Emtn "represents a flexible instrument as it will allow Banca Ifis both to promptly exploit favorable market windows for the issue of bond loans, and to issue various categories of financial instruments of debt".

The Emtn program will last for one year, "as usual with the possibility of renewal". The individual issues will be addressed to institutional investors in Italy and abroad with the exception of the United States of America.

At this juncture, in Piazza Affari, the stock gained 0,78% to 37,53 euros, beating the performance of the main listing, up by 0,2%.
