Banca Ifis: profit doubles in 9 months

Bank Ifis closed on third quarter with a net profit down by 25,3% on the year, to 18 million euro, mainly due to the decline in the intermediation margin and in the financial management result. Thanks to strong second quarter results, however, accounts for first nine months of 2015 continue to record a double profit compared to the same period of 2014, at 148,8 million euros.

Also in the third quarter, the intermediation margin amounted to 62,4 million, down by 7,9% (+55,2% in the nine months), while the net result of financial management was equal to 57,2 million, down by 3,5% (+68,4% in the nine months).

The DRL sector was positive, active in the purchase and management of non-performing loan portfolios in the unsecured market which, on a quarterly basis, recorded a 47% growth in the intermediation margin and 79% in financial management. As for capital ratios, at the end of September CET1 rose to 15,34% from 13,89% at the end of 2014.
