Banca Ifis, after Bologna also opens in Parma

Banca Ifis doubles its presence in Emilia Romagna. And so, after the opening of the Bologna branch, the bank is now announcing the opening of a new territorial branch also in Parma.

“With its Hindu ecosystemdistricts, districts and about 400 active businesses, Emilia Romagna is a strategic region that Banca Ifis wants to monitor even more closely”, explains Raffaele Zingone, co-general manager of Banca Ifis. “The opening of a new branch in Parma – he continues – is an important step in our growth project. Recovery is possible and as a Bank we must contribute effectively to supporting companies, establishing an open and direct dialogue with entrepreneurs, listening to them to understand the real business prospects and resolve the complexity. Only in this way will it be possible to implement a real restart". In fact, it should be remembered that Banca Ifis has 80 business customers throughout Italy, with over 7 customers operating in Emilia-Romagna, around 9% of the total.

According to the report Market Watch SMEs, carried out by Banca Ifis on a significant sample of companies based in Emilia-Romagna, 45% of companies in the region continued to invest in the two-year period 2020-2021 despite Covid; and the percentage is set to rise to 49% by 2023.

It should also be considered, explains the note from the bank, that bank financing still has a significant weight in supporting investments and is used today by 44% of SMEs interviewed for the Market Watch SMEs. Banca Ifis forecasts that in the next two years entrepreneurs in Emilia-Romagna will focus above all on the development of digital technologies to renew the offer of products and services. But sustainability and customer relationship management remain central in the allocation of resources: two objectives on which the companies of the region are positioned above the national average.
