With the shareholders' meeting scheduled for Thursday 22 April, the new course of Banca Ifis will begin which will crown the fifty-year-old Dutch engineer (but born in Sardinia) Frederik Geertman in the role of Chief Executive Officer, strongly desired by the first shareholder Furstemberg.
After the shareholders' meeting, the new CEO will stream a press conference together with the vice president Ernesto Furstemberg Fassio.
Innovation will certainly be the compass of Banca Ifis' new course and it is no coincidence that Geertman was also chosen for having successfully led the digitization of customer relations from an omnichannel perspective in the banks (Ubi and Unicredit) where he previously worked.
