Banca Ifis has acquired a portfolio of non-performing loans for a nominal value of over 70 million euro. This was announced by the institute in a note, explaining that the portfolio corresponds to approximately 5.900 positions and was sold "by one of the main Italian consumer credit companies".
As for the type of loans assigned, these are mainly personal loans, special purpose loans and car loans. This transaction brings the volume of non-performing loans purchased by Banca Ifis's Npl Area in the first five months of 2016 above 1,5 billion euro.
