Banca Ifis announces that it has concluded two transactions, one for the purchase and the other for the sale, of two portfolios of non-performing loans in the Italian market. The purchase transaction was carried out on the secondary consumer credit market. The nominal value of the portfolio purchased from Banca Ifis is approximately 466 million, equal to 77.600 positions. As regards the type of credit purchased, these are mainly personal loans (37%), credit cards (32%) and special purpose loans (31%).
In addition to the purchase, Banca Ifis also concluded the sale of a package of bad debts with a nominal value of approximately 45 million euros, equal to over 1.700 positions. Both transactions were concluded with Locam, a company active in the valuation, acquisition and management of non-performing loans, which is part of Seer Capital Management, one of the main international investment funds.
