Banca Generali: record inflows in February (+45%)

Taking into consideration the first two months of 2017, total inflows for the current year rise to 1,1 billion – Approximately 80% of net inflows come from assets under management for an amount of 531 million (+66% compared to January ), while the remaining 20% ​​derives from the unmanaged component for 137 million (-2,8% compared to January).

Banca Generali: record inflows in February (+45%)

Banca Generali continues to grow in terms of funding. The institute led by Gian Gian Maria Mossa, whose title will debut on the Ftse Mib on March 20th, in February recorded inflows of 668 million, an increase of 45% compared to January. February is configured as the second best month ever.

Taking into consideration the first two months of 2017, total funding for the current year rises to 1,1 billion. Going into detail, approximately 80% of net inflows comes from managed savings for an amount of 531 million (+66% compared to January), while the remaining 20% ​​derives from the unmanaged component for 137 million (-2,8% compared to January). Since the beginning of the year, inflows into managed products show an improvement of 50% to 850 million, with the incidence on the total reaching 75% compared to 51% last year.

Based on what was communicated by Banca Generali, the acceleration was determined by "container" products, capable of protecting and diversifying investment choices with a high level of customization, for which inflows were recorded for 494 million . The most requested product was BG Solution with 321 million raised. The BG Stile Libero multi-line policy also did well, with subscriptions amounting to 173 million. In fact, since January, other traditional insurance products have collected 45 million against 489 million in the first two months of 2016.

The general manager, Gian Maria Mossa, commented: “We are confirming the excellent results of 2016 in terms of net inflows with a great focus on services with greater added value: an example above all is the new Asset Management BG Solution which in the two months raised almost 600 million (against the total of 14 million last year for the same period), quickly becoming a point of reference thanks to its characteristics of flexibility and risk protection. Innovation in financial planning products and solutions perfectly match our consultancy approach, allowing us to grow assets under management by 50% more in these first two months of the year compared to the same period of 2016 with a trend that promises to be very positive also for the next few months”.
