The institution led by Gian Maria Mossa recorded net inflows of 711 million euros in March, up 70% on the same month of the previous year and also up on the 668 million in February.

Banca Generali recorded net inflows of 711 million euro in March, up 70% compared to the same month of the previous year and also up compared to 668 million in February.

As the bank led by Gian Maria Mossa points out, March is the second best month ever. Not only that, in the first three months of the year a new high was reached in terms of quarterly collection, which in the three months it reached 1,84 billion.

La managed collection last month marked positive flows of 709 million, after 531 million in February to a total of 1,56 billion since January.

"We are very pleased with the March result which reflects the contribution of our advisors to protecting savings through a versatile range of managed solutions", comments the CEO Gian Maria Mossa, who underlines how "thousands of new customers" have joined the bank "in these first months of 2017. We look to the coming months with confidence and optimism".

In March mutual funds recorded net inflows of 231 million. Since January the total amounted to 431 million compared to 85 million in the same period of 2016. Net inflows from portfolio management grew in March to 332 million from 192 million in February, bringing the three-month total to 648 million from 56 million a year earlier, while insurance went from 203 million in February to 146 million last month, totaling 480 million in the quarter from 867 million in January-March 2016.

Unmanaged savings in March it recorded net inflows of 2 million against 137 million in February, to a total of 280 million since the beginning of the year from 692 million in the same period of 2016. New insurance business last month amounted to 319 million, after 298 million in February, for a total of 851 million in the first three months of 2017 against 1,15 billion in the same period last year.

After the publication of the positive results obtained in the quarter, Banca Generali shares accelerated in Piazza Affari, gaining 0,94% to 24,70 euros.
