Banca Generali closed 2019 with net inflows of 5,13 billion up compared to 5,02 billion in 2018. The performance of December, closed with 614 million in net inflows from 373 million in November. In December 2018 the figure was 470 million.

“The recovery of the demand for managed solutions launched in the second half of the year with 388 million in the month and 2,8 billion in the whole year”, underlines Banca Generali in a note.

Above all, it was the most successful among customers the new House Sicav, Lux Im, which raised 2,13 billion in the year (216 million in December alone). We also note the development of advanced consultancy (advisory) which reached 4,7 billion at the end of the year (100 million in the month and 2,4 billion since the beginning of the year).

The Luxembourg platform and the asset management, BG Solution, generated a weighted average performance of 9,5% over the year, with managed accounts at 8,4% and retail Sicavs at 10,5%. The hybrid insurance containers, BG Stile Libero, recorded 82 million new flows in the month (544 million since the beginning of the year). The positive flows of the month are also completed by the 247 million of new liquidity acquired in current accounts (1,6 billion since the beginning of the year).

Our advanced consultancy is growing at a faster rate than we forecast; we are very satisfied with this and with the endogenous growth of flows driven by our existing structure. Product innovation and a commitment to sustainable development are distinctive elements recognized by demand, which remains strong, and for this reason we are very confident about the prospects for the beginning of 2020".
