Banca Generali, the future is increasingly rosy

An increasingly pink and successful bank, like its two exceptional testimonials who, not surprisingly, are two women, two champions in their field: the skier Federico Brignone, former winner of the Alpine Skiing World Cup and who has recently joined none other than Debora Compagnoni as victories in her career, and Beatrice Venezi, the conductor just 31 years old (she's doing them these days) but already of international fame. Banca Generali has chosen these two talented Italians to promote a young and female turnaround, with tangible results also in 2020.

Despite the pandemic that has put the world of work in crisis, in fact, the bank led by Gian Maria Mossa increased its headcount by 10% confirming a trend that had already begun in 2019. And the growth in personnel, not surprisingly, was mainly driven by two categories of workers: women and young people. “Our goal – commented Valentina Frezza, Banca Generali's HR Manager – is to pursue sustainable and long-lasting growth, also focusing on the skills and enthusiasm of young people to design the future of family wealth advisory together with them. . To do this, we have started exchange and collaboration paths with the most important Italian universities some time ago and we have put training at the center of the development and growth path of our people".

If you look at Banca Generali's 2020 numbers, the highest rate of new hires concerns personnel with age group under 30 years old, which represents 60%. And among these, 68% are expressions of the female gender. Numbers that confirm a consolidated trend which today sees a percentage of female employees equal to 49% of the entire corporate population. In fact, a gender equality that is also expressed in the key roles of the corporate organization chart. Looking at the top management structures of Banca Generali, it immediately catches the eye how some strategic positions are held by young female managers.

“Having young women at the helm of some of the Bank's most important departments highlights how ours is not a communication project, but a precise corporate choice in which merit and competence come before any other selection criterion - confirms Frezza again , which concludes -. This is a result of which we are particularly proud and which derives from the deep conviction that it is fundamental go beyond any gender preconceptions to pursue sustainable and long-lasting growth”. In short, for Banca Generali the future seems to be very rosy.
