The total amount will be equal to 124,7 million euro – The detachment of the coupon is envisaged following the shareholders' meeting of 22 May, while the record date and payment are set for the following two days.

Banca Generali's Board of Directors approved the 2017 results, confirming its intention to distribute a dividend of 1,07 euro per share, for a total amount of 124,7 million euro.

As regards the accounts, the draft financial statements confirm the preliminary consolidated net profit for the year of 155,9 million euros (compared to 203,6 million in 2015 which counted on 60 million more performance fees). However, we recall that based on what was communicated on 10 February by the institute led by Gian Maria Mossa, the profit also takes into account the charges - 8,2 million - linked to the participation in the BRRD and FITD funds for the rescue of the banking system " .

In the intermediation margin, the strength of the growth in management commissions (492,3 million, +7%) is underlined, which continues for the 20th consecutive quarter, giving visibility and sustainability to future results.

Consolidated shareholders' equity at the end of 2016 rose again, settling at 646,5 million (compared to 636,8 million at the end of 2015). The solidity of the bank is therefore further strengthened compared to the previous year. The CET 1 ratio on a transitional basis stood at 16,7% (+240 basis points over the year) while the Total Capital ratio on a transitional basis stood at 18,4% (+250 bps over the year).

On the basis of these results, Banca Generali's board confirmed its intention to propose to the shareholders' meeting called for 22 May next, the destruction of a unit dividend of 1,07 euro per share, for a total amount of 124,7 million. The detachment of the coupon is scheduled for the same day, while the record date and payment are set for the following two days.

In Piazza Affari, the Banca Generali share, which is about to make its debut on the Ftse Mib (which will take place on 20 March) gains 1,13% to 24,22 euros.
