Banca Fucino: the Torlonias will invest 25 million in the increase

The Torlonia family will invest up to 25 million euros in the capital increase of Banca del Fucino to keep a significant share of the capital in their portfolio, while ceding control of the institution to Barents. The figure was revealed by the Radiocor agency, which writes that it consulted the minutes of last March's meeting.

The increase is worth a total of 50 million, money that will cover the 47,5 million loss recorded in 2016. A securitization is also envisaged that will allow the deconsolidation of NPLs for 300 million. Again Radiocor writes that the due diligence with Barents is nearing its conclusion and will affect the 2017 budget, which will close in the red.

Barents was preferred as the new partner to the Jc Flowers fund, which was consortium with the British hedge fund Toscafund (the same recently entered the capital of Creval).

As regards Banca del Fucino's shareholding, at present 49% is held by Finvest-Finanziaria Investimenti, 38% by Torlonia Partecipazioni and 12% in joint usufruct by Carlo, Paola, Francesca and Giulio Torlonia.
