Banca Etruria is looking for new partners, after the end of negotiations Pop Vicenza

After the decay of the binding offer from Banca Popolare di Vicenza and yesterday's stock market crash, Banca Etruria is looking for a new partner for integration and to escape the receivership.

According to some sources, the top management of the Arezzo bank turned to Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna, which had presented an expression of interest a few months ago. The alternative would be Banca Ubi.

Meanwhile, work is underway to replace Luca Bronchi as general manager: the favorites for the succession are the former general manager of Banca Popolare di Spoleto, Alfredo Pallini, and the former number one of the San Miniato savings bank, Piergiorgio Giuliani.

By mid-morning, Banca Etruria shares rebounded by around 3%, after yesterday's collapse.
