The Carige board of directors on governance which began on Tuesday morning at 10.30 has concluded. In the meeting, according to financial sources reported by Radiocor, it was decided that a forthcoming session of the board of directors will probably call the shareholders' meeting for the second part of September with the revocation and renewal of the corporate bodies on the agenda.
The convening of the assembly, other sources point out, could not technically take place in this meeting of the council in the light of the fact that the request received from Raffaele Mincione, owning more than 5% through Pop12 and Time&Life, needs to be specifically addressed in a board meeting
. During today's meeting, it should be noted, a large part of the directors would have reaffirmed their trust in the managing director Paolo Fiorentino. The general intention underlined during the works is to proceed with the implementation of the plan in the coming weeks through the definition of the foreseen operations in the pipeline: in addition to the approval of the half-yearly report, the bank intends to complete the sale of Creditis and a portfolio of unlikely to pay.
