Banca Carige, the Foundation falls below 30%: next target 19%

The Carige Foundation has fallen below 30% in the capital of Banca Carige with the placement of approximately 11% which took place last week. This can be read in the Consob communications on significant shareholdings. The stake held is equal to 29,855%. The latest official position, which emerged at the end of April from the shareholders' meeting, was 43,4%. Fondazione Carige has already obtained authorization from the Treasury to further reduce its share up to 19%. At the beginning of the afternoon, Banca Carige shares gained 2,45% in Piazza Affari 0,4355 euro, in a triumphal day for the Stock Exchange and in particular for the banking sector.
