One month to identify the new CEO of the Bank. It is the deadline set by the Carige Foundation to meet one of the requests arrived from the Bank of Italy. The news emerged from the meetings of the organisation's corporate bodies which released the list of candidates for the renewal of the Board of Directors, identifying Cesare Castelbarco Albani as the candidate for the presidency of Banca Carige.
According to Radiocor, in addition to the definition of the list, the comparison also touched on the need to proceed "in a short time" with the choice of the bank's managing director, a search that should take place within a month "in line with the indications of Banca of Italy” on an industrial level and capital strengthening.
During the meetings, no names of potential managers suitable for the position emerged, which, according to the statute, is an alternative to that of the general manager (now Ennio La Monica).
At the opening in Piazza Affari, Banca Carige's share gains just under one point.
