Direct banking agreement between Illimity Bank, the bank led by Corrado Passera and born from the merger between SPAXS and Banca Interprovinciale, e Azimut.

The agreement provides that Illimity will make available to Azimut banking products and services that the advisors of the asset management company will be able to offer their customers together with the traditionally proposed investment solutions. These services will be offered through the illimity Direct Bank digital platform, which will be operational in the coming weeks and will gradually be opened to customers.

"Azimut's Italian customers will therefore have access to one of the most advanced and competitive value propositions on the Italian market", reads the note.

Going into details, Illimity - through the aforementioned platform - will make available a digital and personalized daily banking platform offer, debit cards, prestige credit cards with premium services, mobile payments and a dedicated contact center which will also be available to Azimut consultants.

"The collaboration opens up important strategic prospects for both parties, which will enrich the partnership with further elements with the forthcoming entry into force of the PSD2 legislation", concludes the note.

At Piazza Affari the Azimuth title gains 0,4% to 15,35 euros against a 0,8% drop in the Ftse Mib. +0,12% per Illimity Bank shares on the Mta. We recall that the bank led by Passera made its debut in Piazza Affari last March 5 and has since gained more than 11% of its value.
