Declining start on Wall Street, weighs on the IMF outlook

A decidedly lower opening on Wall Street, in the wake of the forecasts of the Monetary Fund which certified the weak prospects of the economy in Europe unlike in the USA where the GDP is expected to grow by 2,2% this year and by 3,1 % in 2015.

In the first part of trading, the Dow Jones dropped 0,84%, the Nasdaq fell 0,85% and the S&P 500 lost 0,71%. Looking at the stocks, it is worth noting the decline of Yahoo and Facebook, which lose respectively 1,08 and 0,5% and lead the declines among the technological ones. On the other hand, Alcoa rose by 0,5%, which tomorrow after the closing of negotiations will publish the financial results, kicking off the American quarterly season as usual. Start-ups fell sharply for SodaStream International (-19%) and Container Store (-18,6%), which warned investors of the arrival of disappointing accounts.
