The Board of Avio, a company controlled 81% by the Cinven fund and 14% by Finmeccanica, has approved the data relating to first quarter of 2012, closed with very positive results. Indeed, during the period under consideration, group revenues grew by 27,5% compared to the first quarter of 2011, to 528,8 million euros, while adjusted Ebitda settled at 96,8 million, with an increase of 11,7%. The debt improved by 15,7 million, reduced to 1.407,3 millionThose. the order book is calculated to be more than 6 billion.

In a statement released by the company, theChief Executive Officer Francesco Caio commented on these results, stating how they confirm the growth trend that began in 2011, especially in the AeroEngine sector, where global demand is continuously increasing. As for the future, Caio said that “the first quarter results and growth allow us to continue with confidence in the realization of our development plans".
