Isis advance: bomb attack in Libya, near Misrata

Isis advance in Libya. The fundamentalist group has claimed responsibility for the attack on a military training center in Libya, at least 65 dead. A truck loaded with explosives was launched against a training center in the city of Zliten, 150 kilometers from Tripoli in the Misrata area. Tripoli and Misrata, controlled by militias close to their Muslim brothers, are also fighting the Islamic State. Many injured. There are also civilians among the victims.

Meanwhile, General Khalifa Haftar, head of the regular Libyan armed forces, this morning ordered the air force to "stop the advance of ISIS towards the Sidra oil terminal with all available means". The Islamic fighters are about 50 kilometers from the port, after having attacked the industrial complex of Hindia, at the gates of Ras Lanuf (another oil terminal). If they were to go beyond Ras Lanuf, one of the major Libyan oil ports would be in very serious danger and with it all of Libya.
