Autogrill: profit boom of 17,8%

In the nine months, revenues fell to 2,944 billion (-2%), while net profit amounted to 31,2 million (+9,7%) – Despite the positive numbers, the stock travels in the red in Piazza Business.

Rest it closed the third quarter with a net profit from the food & beverage activities of 63,9 million euros, up 17,8% on an annual basis. Revenues instead fell by 3,4%, to 1,107 billion, while EBITDA stood at 149,2 million (-0,6%). The net financial position amounted to 628 million, against 933 as at 31 December. 

In the nine months, revenues fell to 2,944 billion (-2%), while net profit settled at 31,2 million (+9,7%), to which must be added the 91,1 million (+9,2, 10,8%) of the assets destined for the demerger. The total accrual result rose by 113% to XNUMX million. 

The data refer only to the businesses remaining in Autogrill after the demerger from World Duty Free, which became effective on XNUMX October.

The guidance communicated to the market upon approval of the results for the first half of 2013 was confirmed. The business trend in the summer period and its evolution in the following weeks "lead us to believe that the target of around 4 billion in revenues for 2013 , communicated last July, can be confirmed", underlines the company, specifying however that it expects that "compared to the assumptions made in the guidance, there will be a lower contribution from the growth in revenues from North America, offset by higher sales in Europe ”.

For 2013, the group expects investments in the order of 170 million, slightly lower than the previous indication (180 million).

At the beginning of the afternoon, the Autogrill share dropped 1,4%.
