Autogrill inflames the stock market but today it falls: are the Benettons selling?

In the Benetton team, it's not just Atlantia that is making sparks fly on the Stock Exchange due to the ever-closer acquisition of the Spanish Abertis, pace of Florentino Perez, who will have to console himself with the football successes of his Real Madrid.

Yesterday Autogrill returned to the fore in Piazza Affari (+5,1%) and the reason lies in the rumors of the American site Wall Street Wires according to which negotiations have been underway for some time to sell all or part of Autogrill to foreign competitors.

The names of the groups interested in acquiring Autogrill's assets are those of the French Elior and Sodexho and that of the English Compass, but what sets the stock market ablaze is the base price of the deal: 14 euros for a share, 35% more than what Autogrill is worth today, although it has already grown significantly in recent months. Obviously, Piazza Affari pricks up its ears.
