The share of Autogrill goes up on the Stock Exchange, which in the afternoon gains 1,24% in Piazza Affari, in contrast with the Milanese price list which loses more than 2%. The Italian company is encouraged by the provisional award, through its subsidiary World Duty Free, of the first lot of the tender for duty free shops at Spanish airports, as communicated by the Spanish airport agency Aena, adding that the definitive award will be decided by the BoD of 18 December.

The German group Gebr also participated in the first stage of the tender. Heinemann, the Sigma consortium and Dufry Hispanosuiza. The Aena press release reads that "After the presentation of the initial offers, a round of negotiations proceeded which did not lead to any second offer". This lot allocates duty free at 11 Spanish airports, including Madrid.
