Record auto sales for Chrysler: it's the best October since 2001

The Chrysler brand posted a 55th consecutive month of sales growth, with Jeep in particular achieving a record October and the largest sales increase among the group's brands (+52%).

Chrysler posts best October since 2001 in the United States. Sales of the FCA group brand increased by 22% in the last month compared to the same month a year ago, to 170.480 cars. This is the 55th consecutive month of growing sales, with the exploit in particular of Jeep which marked a record October and the most consistent increase in sales among the brands of the group (+52%).

A total of nine vehicles posted sales records for the month of October, including the all-new Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, Chrysler 200, Dodge Challenger and Dodge Dart. Chrysler 200 sales grew 40 percent compared to October 2013.

Finally, Chrysler Group closed the month of October with 84 days of inventory (530.338 units). Sales for the US market for the month of October are estimated based on a forecast of 16,9 million units (SAAR - seasonally adjusted annual rate).
