Car sales in Europe increase for the third consecutive month, but the Italian market continues to decline and Fiat's share shrinks further. According to theThat, the manufacturers' association, last month registrations on the continent grew by 1,2% on an annual basis, to 938 units.

Great Britain and Spain were the most dynamic markets, while in Italy the decline was 4,5%. In the eleven months, the decrease in the EU was 2,7% on year, while in our country the contraction reached 7,7%.

In November Fiat registered over 55.600 cars in Europe, 5,8% on an annual basis. Lingotto's share is 5,7%, down 0,4% on last year. Once again this result was heavily penalized by the negative result in Italy (-4,5%), the group's reference market.

The results obtained in France should be noted, where, in a market that fell by 4%, the Fiat brands grew by 0,6%. Positive signals also from Spain, where the market rose by 15,1% but group volumes increased by 19,8%. In the United Kingdom, against a market that grows by 7%, the brands of the group have a leap forward of 45,8%.
