In November, registrations on the Italian market increased by an average of 8,2%, while Fce achieved growth of 10,8% on an annual basis - Volkswagen also did well, first among foreign brands

Still a good result for the Italian car market, which grew by 8,2% year-on-year in November, with 145.835 registrations. The group fca it beat the market average with an increase of 10,8%, to 41.577 units (including Maserati), for a market share of 28,5%. This is what emerges from the data released by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. In the cumulative, the market rises by 16,51% to almost 1,7 million with the FCA group which scores +18,7% to 491.200 and a share of 28,9% (+0,5 percentage points). Leader in our country among foreign brands remains Volkswagen, which in the month marks +7,54% to 11.187 (10,17% share) and in the 11 months an increase of 16,29% to 128.863.

Considering the various FCA brands, Fiat recorded an increase of 7,8% in the month to over 30.100 with a share of 20,7% and progressively an increase of 17,4% to 359 thousand for a share of 21,1% (+0,2 percentage points). In segment A le Panda (with 13 registrations in the month) e Fiat 500 were confirmed as the best sellers and the 500X (fifth in the top ten) and 500L also dominated their segments. Type is now firmly in the top positions, both in the top ten and in the C segment. Qubo e Doblo once again the best-selling among the multifunctional.

Noteworthy is the result of Alfa Romeo, +35,65% in November to 3.300 and +17,6% in the cumulative to 33.400 thanks above all to sales of the Giulia, 'steadily increasing and with a strongly positive trend, as FCA observes. As for Jeep also in November it continued to run with an increase in sales of 27,5% in the month to over 3.500 and +36,2% to over 37.400 in the final balance.

The sales success of Renegade Jeep tows: the brand's flagship model is among the ten best-selling cars of the month and now firmly, together with the 500X, the most requested car in its segment. As for Lancia, it scored +2,3% to almost 4.400 in November and +11% to around 17,65 over the 61.400 months. Launch in November Ypsilon it is the second best-selling car in the month, ahead of the B-segment.

Still considering the FCA group, Maserati it more than doubled its sales for the month to 221 units (up from 86 a year earlier). In the final balance there is an increase of 39,6% to 1.810. Most manufacturers made progress on the Italian market in November. More push-ups for Citroen (-8,2%), Dacia (-23,5%), Land Rover (-10,6%), Mini (-8,2%), e Nissan (-9,8%). Leader among foreign companies Volkswagen (+10% sales to 11.187 units), ahead of Renault (10.022, +15,1%) and Ford (9.707, -0,9%).

Well, among generalists, too Toyota (+ 11%), Peugeot (+ 12,8%), Honda (+ 55,8%) and Opel (+1,4%). In the top of the range Audi records +24,2%, bmw +7,6% and Mercedes +13,6%. In the cumulative Volkswagen is the leader among foreign manufacturers with 128.863 units (+16,3%), ahead of Ford with 116.828 (+14%) and Renault with 110.023 (+26,7%). In the top of the range Audi +15,3%, BMW +21,65% and Mercedes +18,47%.
