AUTO – The market is running (+15%) and FCA does better than all (+17%): the five best-selling models

The car market in Italy shows evident signs of recovery and the month of March marks a 15% increase in sales with Sergio Marchionne's FCA in command. In the first quarter of the year, 428.464 cars were sold in Italy, 13,46% more than in the same period last year, while in March FCA beat the market again with a 17% increase.

The car therefore sends the country an encouraging signal which confirms that since the beginning of the year the tide has finally changed and Italy has restarted.

In the general growth of the automotive market, the performance of the FCA stands out, which in March delivered 45.960 new cars with a leap of 17%, which brings the group's share of the Italian market from 28% to 28,49%.

The five best-selling models are all FCA and are Panda, 500L, 500, Ypsilon and Punto. Fabulous the leap forward of Jeep which in March recorded a sales boom of 249,3% which brings the increase since the beginning of the year to almost 300%.

"They want to offer our contribution to ensure that the Italian recovery is even stronger," FCA commented.
