Fiat Panda the current goes up and, in a car market that proceeds slowly, sees sales in the month of October grow by 24% in Europe. This is revealed by the Jato Dynamics ranking, which illustrates the trend of the 10 best-selling models on the continent.

Al first place remains the Volkswagen Golf, which confirms its leadership at 33.126 units (down 12,1%, however, on an annual basis). Behind him are the Ford Fiesta (-1,1%) and the new Peugeot 208. Followed by Renault Clio (-2%) Volkswagen Polo (-21,6%), Opel Corsa (-17,4%), Opel Astra (- -11%), Ford Focus (-10%), Fiat Panda (-1,5%) and Nissan Qashqai, the only one up year-on-year, with sales growth of 0,4%, and +15,7 % month to October. In first place in the 10 months remains the VW Golf, down 10% on the year.

Gareth Hession, vice president of Jato for Research, however, is cautiously optimistic, despite the general decline compared to 2011: "The increase in registrations in Great Britain and Germany indicates some signs of hope for the car industry in Europe, which must not, however, stop keeping its guard up".
