For the eleventh consecutive month fca beats the European market. In November, Fiat Chrysler sales reached 68.500 units, for a increase of 18,3% year on year. According to data released by Thathowever, in the same period the continental market grew instead by 13,7%.
Between January and November, Furthermore, FCA sales up 13,4%, versus 8,6% of the European average. In November, the market share of the Italian-American company also improved (+0,3%), settling at 6,1%.
In the main markets FCA increases sales with better than average performances in Italy, Germany, France (+17,1%) and Spain (+37,3%). As for individual brands, Fiat improves sales in November with an increase of 19,7% and 11,2% in the first 11 months.
Still remarkable growth for Jeep which in November shows a leap of 50,2%, while in the progressive since the beginning of the year the increase is 131,9%. Sales also growing for Alfa Romeo (+6,3% in November).
As for Volkswagen, the German company contains the Dieselgate effect on car sales in Europe. Indeed, the market leader records an increase in registrations of 4,2 percent. The market share fell by more than two points, going down to 24,5% from 26,8%.
