Auto: Europe +15,5% in May, FCA +25,3%

According to Acea data, Fiat Chrysler's market share thus rose to 7,4% from 6,8% a year earlier - Sales of Fiat-branded cars increased by 26,8%, Jeeps by 30% and Lancia/Chrysler by 31,9%, while Alfa Romeos decreased by 1,1%

Car registrations in Europe increased by 15,5% in May to 1.330.599 units. This was communicated by Acea, specifying that Italy once again stands out among the main markets, with a growth of 27,3%, followed by France (+22,3%), Spain (+20,9%) and Germany (+11,9%). In the United Kingdom, on the other hand, growth was 2,5%. In the first 5 months of the year, registrations in Europe increased by 9,7%, to 6.583.373 units.

Again in May, FCA's result was once again higher than the market. Registrations for the group increased by 25,3%, to 98.011 units. According to Acea data, Fiat Chrysler's market share thus rose to 7,4% from 6,8% a year earlier.

Sales of Fiat-branded cars increased by 26,8%, Jeeps by 30% and Lancia/Chryslers by 31,9%, while Alfa Romeos decreased by 1,1%. In the 5 months, registrations of new cars of the FCA group grew by 17,6%, to 452.043 units.
