Terna Energy Solutions, a Terna group company, has signed an agreement with The Mobility House, a technology company based in Germany, Switzerland and California. There are two main objectives: to design technological solutions to integrate renewable sources into the network, especially those of the smaller islands, and to develop sustainable mobility through a platform for intelligent recharging of electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
The Mobility House provides software for integrating vehicle batteries into the power grid using smart charging, energy management and storage solutions.
In detail, the agreement concerns the development of smart aggregation and recharging hardware and software systems and finds micro-grid applications also in islands not interconnected to the national grid, with potential opportunities, at a geographical level, in Italy, Europe and the North America.
"Terna Energy Solutions and The Mobility House will work to finalize all the technical-economic feasibility analyzes of the project, including the legal, regulatory and technological potential aspects", reads the note.
