Art-Rite auction house present in Italy with departments, Modern and Contemporary Art, Ancient Art, Comic Art, Jewels and Numismatics opens a new department entirely dedicated to Vintage car.
First appointment with vintage cars
The auction will be held on May 6th, see a selection of the cars in the auction has already had its first exhibition during fuorisalone having good success and falling within the Banca Sistema Arte Project . The affected cars are Porsche 356 super 90, with a classic gray livery and cartier red interior and a Fiat 500 To Mickey Mouse, the car that powered Italy, customized for the occasion by the artist Laurina Paperina. The particularity of the specimen presented at auction is the first registration plate, 1946, with the symbol of the National Association of War Crippled and Invalid, the symbol used for Italian registration from 1945 to '47.
Present two models of Porsche Carrera 3.0 Targa
In the year in which the sixty years of the famous Porsche 911, this auction will include two extraordinary 911 models. On the one hand, a magnificent one Carrera 3.0 Targa from 1977 (estimate: €130.000), only produced between 1975 and 1977 and considered by many to be one of the best 911s ever created. The example up for auction, of a splendid colour green viper, it has undergone a deep restoration of the highest level, every piece of the engine has been revised and replaced with original parts (to date the car has only driven 822 km). Top lot one Porsche 911 2.4 S coupe of the 1972 (estimate: €178.000 – 215.000). This specimen is also restored to the highest level. While it can be said that the Lotus 23B of the 1969 (estimate: €45.000 – 65.000) duly registered to circulate on the road. Only two models are present today as in Europe.
For vintage lovers
Not missing one Singer Le Mans Special Speed (estimate: €54.000 – €70.000) produced in 1934 It is the oldest car featured in this sale. The car took part between 1934-'36 in about ten competitions, including the RAC, the most important rally in England, in 1935-'36. In December 2012 it was purchased by an Italian Singer enthusiast who will have a further restoration carried out. Also, the Land Rover 88 Half Ton (estimate: €12.000) with a bodywork naked and reduced to the essentials, used by the British army and known for its characteristics of resistance and reliability.
Made in Italy: Alfa Romeos
Finally, they could not miss the Alfa Romeos: a white GT 1300 Junior (estimate: €23.000 – 30.000) equipped with original license plate and green booklet, with an exquisitely preserved cockpit and all Alfa Romeo branded components; and Alfa Romeo 1750GTV in a rare 1968 version (estimate: €71.000 – 89.000)
