Sees no end to the collapse of the car market in Italy, which in August recorded a decrease of 20% compared to the same period of 2011, a figure destined to rise to 25% also considering zero-kilometre cars, which will only be registered today.
To sound the alarm is the association of Federauto dealers, which in a press release expects a market of 2012 million cars for the whole of 1,370, down by 630 thousand units compared to the average of the last 5 years.
According to the president of Federauto Filippo Bernacchi, the victims of the continuing crisis in the sector will be many. In addition to the car manufacturers, in fact, too the state will see its tax revenues reduced by about 3 billion euros, while at least 220 employees in the sector are at risk of being out of work.
