Pirelli will not participate in the Prelios capital increase. The news was given by Sergio Iasi, managing director of the company active in the real estate and financial services sector, on the sidelines of the group's shareholders' meeting called to launch the 66,5 million euro recapitalization.
Pirelli (which currently holds 29,2% of the company's capital) has already communicated its will to Prelios, but – continues the CEO – “it will not leave the capital tomorrow morning and will probably continue to be present in the coming months and years".
On the other hand, Intesa Sanpaolo and Unicredit, one of the group's major shareholders, confirmed their participation in the capital increase.
