Audi sales surge in April: 125.200 new cars registered, up 14,4% on April 2011 if they drop by 10% in Italy – The Board of Directors: “For 2012 we aim for double-digit growth”.

Audi: sales are flying, +14,4% in April

Le sales of Audi (Volkswagen group) continue to proceed briskly: in April the enrollments are increased by 14,4% compared to the same period of 2011, reaching 125.200 units. Taking into consideration the first four months of 2012, however, sales increased by 11,7% compared to last year.

In the press release released by the Ingolstadt-based company, we can read how growth expectations for the calendar year are very high, and how, above all, the Audi management points to fully exploit its potential in North America, including through the construction of a new manufacturing facility in Mexico.

Looking at the individual areas, the automotive group's sales in April sThey grew by 39,3% in the Asia Pacific area (+44% in China and +50% in India), while the increase in registrations was 15% in the USA and 4,9% in Europe (Russia +16,5%, France +13,7%), despite the 10% drop in Italy.

Also in Brazil sales did not go well in the last month, falling by 9,8% compared to the same month in 2011, but in the first four months of 2012 there was however an increase of 20,8%.
