You told Corriere della Sera John Castellucci, CEO of the company that controls Autostrade, regarding the merger project with gemina, the company that manages Fiumicino airport.

The manager added that it will be necessary to wait "about a month" to have clearer ideas on the structure of the operation: "Before then we will work to put the project together".

As for Fiumicino airport, Castellucci believes that "it should review its plans", without envisaging a primary role for Alitalia. "I only expect one thing: that Air France, as an industrial partner, makes clear its programs and plans for the future of Alitalia", said the CEO of Atlantia.

In any case, Castellucci underlined that “Adr is the possibility for Atlantia to enter a new sector, but contiguous in terms of skills. It is no coincidence that there are many global operators in the infrastructure sector present in both sectors. Atlantia will be able to expand its presence in countries where it already operates successfully in the motorway sector: Brazil, Chile and India".
