Atlantia submits offer for Abertis to Spanish Consob

The Italian group will also present documentation certifying bank guarantees for a maximum amount of 14,7 billion to guarantee payment of the maximum amount of the offer.

Atlantia has filed the authorization request to theoffer to purchase 100% of Abertis to the National Securities Market Commission, the Spanish Consob. The Italian group has complied with the deadline established by the rules of the Iberian country.

Atlantia announces in the authorization request that it will also present the documentation certifying bank guarantees for a maximum amount of 14,7 billion to guarantee payment of the maximum amount of the offer. The takeover bid is 16,50 euros per share and values ​​the company at 16,341 billion euros.

In the authorization request, the Italian group defines the consideration offered as "a fair price" and specifies that at a later time it could change the characteristics of the offer by renouncing the issue of shares and making an offer entirely in cash.
