Atlantia (motorways) goes shopping in Chile: acquired Vespucio Sur, Via Litoral Central and Operalia

The company signed the sales agreement already signed with Acciona on 18 April. The transaction was completed through a new company, Nueva Inversiones ('Newco').

Atlantia, the Italian motorway group, signed the purchase agreement signed with Acciona on 18 April and concerning 50% of the capital of the Chilean companies Vespucio Sur, Litoral Central and Operalia. The transaction was completed through a new company, Nueva Inversiones ('Newco'), indirectly controlled 50% by Atlantia and 50% by Autopista do Pacifico (company in which Atlantia and Sias hold 45,7% of the capital each). Vespucio Sur, Litoral Central and Operalia own part of Chile's motorway network. Newco, initially controlled by Autopista Do Pacifico, held only 50% of the company in question. As a result, Newco now holds 100% of the capital of Vespucio Sur, Litoral Central and Operalia.
