Atlantia acquires 10% of Triangulo do Sol and rises to 60% of the Brazilian group

The cost of the operation amounts to 70 million Brazilian reals, approximately 30 million euros. The purchase was finalized following the agreement with Leao & Leao reached on June 11, 2010.

Atlantia completed the purchase, through Autostrade Concessoes and Participacoes Brasil (the latter a wholly owned subsidiary of the group), of a 10% stake in Triangulo do Sol Auto-Estradas. The transaction was formalized following the agreement reached with Leao & Leao on 11 June 2010 and results in the increase of Atlantia's stake to 60% of the capital of Triangulo do Sol. The consideration for the 10% purchase amounts to 70 million Brazilian reals (about 30 million euros).

Triangulo do Sol holds the concession (until 2021) for 42 km of toll highways in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. In 2010 the company totaled revenues of 266 million reals (about 114 million euros) and recorded an Ebitda of 157 million reals (68 million euros). The company's net financial debt amounted to 252 million reals (114 million euros) as of December 31, 2010.
