It will acquire 37,5% of the capital for approximately 190 million euros through a capital increase – Over the next 5 years Aston Martin will invest over 625 million in new products and programs for technological development.

Investindustrial to acquire 190% of Aston Martin Holdings for approximately €37,5m (UK) Limited through a capital increase. The investment company will thus become the main shareholder of the historic British car manufacturer. 

The transaction, subject to Antitrust approval expected in the first quarter of 2013, implies an enterprise value of the Company of approximately 940 million euros.

Over the next 5 years Aston Martin will invest over 625 million in new products and technological development programmes. With the support of Investindustrial and Investment Dar, Aston Martin will therefore be able to implement its plan for growth and expansion worldwide, explains the note.
